Junior Estimator

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Estimator to prepare accurate and timely bids that support weekly production revenue goals. This role is responsible for interpreting plans and specifications, completing take-offs, applying production rates, securing vendor quotes, and supporting the overall estimating and bidding process.

• Prepare and submit bids for review
• Perform accurate take-offs and apply production rates
• Interpret construction drawings, specifications, and addenda
• Secure and review subcontractor/vendor quotes
• Conduct field visits for prime bids
• Support value engineering and pre-construction processes
• Review estimating input work for accuracy
• Maintain knowledge of vendors, materials, and related trades
• Utilize estimating software and Microsoft Office applications

• Associate degree preferred
• 3+ years of commercial construction, landscaping, irrigation, or related estimating experience
• Strong math, analytical, and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
• Bilingual English/Spanish or Vietnamese is a plus

• Strong understanding of how estimating impacts revenue, profitability, and overall project success
• Results-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines and production goals
• Highly organized and detail-driven, ensuring accurate and complete bids
• Sound decision-making skills with the ability to analyze information effectively
• Committed to delivering high-quality work and maintaining estimating standards
• Customer-focused with a professional and responsive approach
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Regular walking on uneven terrain and extended periods in a vehicle

• Pre-employment background check and drug screening required
• Must sign confidentiality and non-solicitation agreement
• Full-time role with a 3-month introductory period
