Job Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented Claims Administrative Assistant to join our operations team and support the essential lifecycle of our claims processing. In this role, you will be responsible for the high-accuracy management of claim files, from initial setup and data entry to final documentation. This position is ideal for an organized professional who excels at maintaining systematic records, managing high-volume correspondence, and ensuring that every "packet" and file is processed with precision to meet our departmental standards.
Compensation& Schedule
Salary: $17.64 - $17.65 per hour
Shift: First
Work Hours:
8 AM - 5 PM
Education:
High School (required)
- Types form letters.
- Sets up, maintains and locates claim files.
- Processes packets.
- Conducts computer data entry and processing; documents claim files in the system correctly.
- Prepares spreadsheets and documents in software applications.
- Answers and initiates telephone calls as required.
- Maintains stationary supplies.
- Sends overnight and messenger outgoing mail.
- Processes returned letters and unidentified mail.
- Transmits facsimiles.
