Job Responsibilities:
- Process vendor invoices by verifying accuracy and ensuring compliance with company policies
- Execute payment runs including electronic transfers, checks, and other approved methods
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions and vendor statements to maintain financial accuracy
- Maintain accurate vendor records and communicate effectively to resolve inquiries and disputes
- Post customer payments from checks, ACH, wire transfers, and miscellaneous deposits to correct accounts
- Understand GAAP and core accounts payable principles thoroughly
- Exhibit high attention to detail and accuracy in all financial tasks
- Utilize accounting software and Microsoft Excel with proficiency
- Adapt to working independently while exercising sound judgment
- Prefer experience with ERP systems, especially Quick Books, and familiarity with three-way matching
- Hold a high school diploma or equivalent; an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred
- 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting roles
- Demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills in a fast-paced environment
- Communicate clearly and professionally in both verbal and written English
- Maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive financial information
