Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger activities
- Manage the accounting team through hiring, training, performance evaluations, and development
- Perform variance analysis for consolidated financials and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure accuracy
- Review period-end account reconciliations and reporting packages, and assist departments in understanding results
- Lead special projects including lease and fixed asset accounting, Oracle Projects enhancements, and report development
- Exhibit exceptional collaboration, teamwork, and interpersonal communication skills
- Work independently with a proactive mindset and eagerness to learn
- Demonstrate advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
- Travel occasionally as required to support business needs
- Lead with integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to continuous improvement
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 2+ years in public accounting
- 2+ years of supervisory experience in an accounting leadership role
- Maintain an active CPA license and ensure confidentiality and sound judgment in decision-making
- Communicate confidently with external auditors and meet deadlines consistently
