Job Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation of annual tax returns using One Source and CCH Axcess.
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of extensions, quarterly estimates, and year-end tax planning.
- Research complex tax issues and prepare technical memoranda to support tax positions.
- Monitor the status of electronic tax filings to confirm acceptance by tax authorities.
- Mentor and support junior staff while contributing to process improvements and team development.
- 3+ years of corporate tax experience, or 5+ years in lieu of a degree.
- Manage and coach others effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulatory changes.
- Utilize tax software systems such as CCH Axcess, BNA, and Microsoft Excel proficiently.
- Prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Possess or be actively pursuing a CPA or EA license (preferred).
- Bring experience with tax compliance for individuals, C-Corps, S-Corps, and partnerships.
- Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
- Share ideas constructively and contribute positively to team discussions and initiatives.
