Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage construction draw processes to ensure compliance with contracts and agreements.
- Coordinate and process billing and invoicing activities for development and construction projects.
- Track project costs and verify adherence to approved budgets.
- Enter contracts and change orders into the accounting system accurately and promptly.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure monthly billings capture all costs and allocations.
- Work with accounts payable to process weekly check runs and maintain payment accuracy.
- Perform month-end close processes and assist in preparing financial statements.
- Support audits of construction projects by providing documentation and schedules.
- Maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with standards.
- Communicate effectively with project managers and stakeholders to provide financial insights.
- A Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA candidate preferred.
- 2+ years of relevant accounting experience; real estate development or construction experience is a plus.
- Demonstrate advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting systems.
- Exhibit strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Work independently with minimal supervision and maintain effective communication as a team player.
