We are looking for a PRODUCE ASSOCIATE to join our Rowe's team. The purpose of this position is to maintain quality standards and product levels of all fruits, vegetables, salads, and fresh pack products in the produce department. This person will be stocking produce shelves, produce coolers and fresh pack items, receiving and stocking product and providing exceptional customer service.

• Provide exceptional service including greeting customers and answering questions with a positive attitude.
• Follows established departmental and store policies and procedures.
• Confirms pricing accuracy, country of origin, and signage for all products, paying particular attention to ad items.
• Fills, maintains, cleans, and rotates products and displays.
• Orders products ensuring proper amount of product is in the department to meet customer needs.
• Maintains high standards of sanitation and freshness.
• Assists in other duties as assigned.
• Assists as needed to ensure the success of the store.

• At least 18 years of age.
• Excellent organization and planning skills.
• Ability to deliver friendly and prompt customer service.
• Familiarity with all varieties of fruits and vegetables and being able to tell when they are ripe.
• Ability to work well with others and as a team.
• Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• A passion for serving others.
• Prior experience preferred.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus.

Produce associates perform their duties primarily on the sales floor and in back receiving areas. Work may be in cool and damp conditions, involves walking, lifting, carrying, moving, and shelving products up to 60lbs. Duties also include frequent interaction with customers and fellow associates.
