The purpose of this position is to ensure the quality, freshness, safety, and profitability of Rowe’s fresh cut meat products. This role demonstrates excellent teamwork and presentation skills. The position will follow the market manager’s merchandising plan, as well as trim/preparation standards while also delivering exceptional customer service.

• Provide exceptional customer service, including greeting customers and answering questions with a positive attitude.
• Wrap, weigh, and price meat cuts and poultry securely in boxes and containers.
• Store items in refrigerators or freezers until they are ready to be sold.
• Fill, rotate, and maintain meat products and displays.
• Maintain high sanitization and presentation standards.
• Assist in other duties as assigned.
• Follow established departmental and store policies and procedures.
• Assist as needed to ensure the success of the store.

• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability to deliver friendly and prompt customer service.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Meat Wrappers perform duties primarily in the meat department, where the temperature always ranges from 38 to 45°F. Work involves reaching, bending, balancing, and carrying product weighing up to 100 pounds, repetitive arm and hand movements, eye‑hand coordination, significant hand strength, and standing in place for long periods of time.
