Shifts:
  • 2nd Shift 2 (Overnight): 6:00 PM – 3:00 AM
  • 3rd Shift (Overnight): 12:00 AM – 9:00 AM
Your Role:
  • Triage incoming patients and collect medical histories
  • Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and draw blood samples
  • Deliver attentive ICU care and respond to patient status changes
  • Provide clear discharge instructions to pet owners
  • Collaborate with Specialists, ER Veterinarians, and nursing staff
Advanced ICU Skills You'll Use and Develop:
  • CPR and emergency stabilization
  • Urinary catheter placement (male and female)
  • Placement and care of PICC lines, arterial, and central catheters
  • Monitoring perfusion, electrolytes, and blood gases
  • Nursing care for patients with ventilators, tracheostomies, chest/feeding tubes
  • Nutritional support and CRI calculations (e.g., analgesics, vasopressors, inotropes)
What We’re Looking For:
  • Minimum 3 years of veterinary emergency/critical care experience
  • Strong ICU nursing and animal handling skills
  • Excellent communication and client service abilities
  • Passion for patient care and professional growth
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Team-oriented with a compassionate, can-do attitude
