Cleaning Attendant

Overview

The Cleaning Attendant is a critical position that demonstrates a passion for maintaining the gym facilities, amenities, and equipment in a “like-new” condition always. The care into delivering “clean and crisp” throughout the gym is essential in ensuring a welcoming, safe, and healthy operation. That care creates a warm, kind, and hospitable environment for team members and members alike.

Reports to:

General Manager

• Greets all members & guests with a smile
• Knows club facility, services and schedules
• Performs cleaning activities in accordance with the cleaning playbook and checklists
• Operates with a sense of urgency to ensure cleaning requirements are completed in a timely manner
• Maintains a professional and courteous disposition
• Maintains a clean and organized work area

• Strives to execute at a level to exceed performance expectations
• Passionate about maintaining cleanliness to “hospital-like” standards
• Proficient reading and writing skills
• Strong customer service orientation
• Demonstrates knowledge of the Crunch brand and offerings
• Maintains friendly and helpful attitude to all club staff, members, and guests

This is a physical role requiring the employee to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and may require standing or bending for prolonged work hours. S/he must also be able to safely climb a ladder when needed.

• Cleaning experience in a service-oriented environment is desirable
• On the job training is provided
• CPR/AED certified or can complete within 30 days from hire
