We are currently seeking a motivated, career-oriented Call Center Representative to join our centralized call center supporting our primary care offices. This role is responsible for handling inbound calls, scheduling appointments, assisting patients with questions, and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handles inbound calls from patients in a professional and courteous manner
  • Schedules, reschedules, and cancels patient appointments efficiently
  • Provides accurate information regarding office services, providers, and procedures
  • Documents patient interactions and updates patient records accurately
  • Maintains patient confidentiality and complies with HIPAA regulations
  • Assists patients with basic billing and payment inquiries
  • Routes calls appropriately and escalates concerns when necessary
  • Responds calmly and effectively to patients who may be distressed or frustrated
  • Maintains knowledge of policies, procedures, and scheduling guidelines
  • Contributes to team efforts and supports daily call center operations
Job Specifications (Education/Licensure/Certification s)
  • High school diploma or GED required
Job Experience
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in a medical office or healthcare call center
  • Experience handling high-volume inbound calls required
  • Medical Assistant experience preferred but not required
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSA)
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced call center environment
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Excellent organization and multitasking abilities
  • Attention to detail and professionalism
  • Ability to work effectively in a team setting
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology preferred
Qualifications

Minimum 1 year experience in the medical field preferred. Multi-tasking, Flexibility, Telephone Skills, Customer Service, Time Management, Organization, Attention to Detail, Scheduling, Word Processing, Professionalism, Quality Focus, Team driven attitude, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and reliable transportation.
