Job Summary and QualificationsThe Radiologic Technologist performs duties directly involved with a variety of technical procedures utilizing ionizing radiation for the purpose of detecting pathology, regulates the equipment used to produce and process images, assists in the daily operation of the Radiology department, establishes and maintains a good rapport and professional relationship with fellow employees, other departments and medical staff.
Primary responsibility is for all general radiology including fluoroscopy on inpatients and outpatients. Rotations in Emergency Department and MBS are included. Limited Operating Room rotations, but the experience is beneficial.
Qualifications- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- (ARRT-R) Radiography.
- (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer Certificate.
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- State of Florida Department of Health Radiologic Technology license.
No travel required.
1 year of experience preferred unless you are a new graduate.
