The Neurodiagnostic Tech performs standard and complex electroencephalography, EEGs, evoked response recordings and assists physicians in the performance of nerve conduction testing. Assists in the daily operation of the CVS department. Regulates and operates equipment used to perform Neurodiagnostic procedures. Tracks and reports Neurodiagnostic testing quality of care. Staff will perform the High Level Disinfection processes in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions (per policy).
Establishes and maintains a good rapport and professional relationship with fellow employees, other departments and medical staff.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Training in an accredited program or school of Neurodiagnostic required
- EEG Experience and Certification required
