The Pharmacy Technician I is responsible for accurately performing all basic pharmacy technician functions in a timely manner.

• Assist pharmacists in preparing and distributing drugs, maintaining the drug inventory and maintaining records.
• Identify opportunities and participate in performance improvement activities as directed.
• Responsible for meeting JC standards, complying with all state and federal regulations, corporate and hospital policy and procedures, managing supplies and equipment, promoting teamwork with pharmacists and all health care providers, promoting internal and external customer satisfaction, and striving for appropriate resource management.

• National Certification (CPhT) required.
• Active Registered pharmacy technician, as per State requirements, in good standing with the appropriate State Board of Pharmacy.
• Prior hospital‑based Pharmacy Tech and IV experience strongly preferred.
