Assistant Professor of Veterinary Medicine

Lincoln Memorial University’s College of Veterinary Medicine (LMU-CVM) invites applications for a full‑time Assistant or Associate Professor of Veterinary Medicine (Course Coordinator) at our Orange Park, Florida campus.

This faculty role is ideal for a veterinarian with a passion for curriculum integration, student learning, and academic collaboration who is interested in shaping veterinary education within a growing college of veterinary medicine. The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating course delivery across pre‑clinical and clinical coursework while contributing to teaching, scholarly activity, and service.

• Coordinating veterinary medicine course delivery, including development, integration, and assessment of pre‑clinical and clinical coursework
• Teaching within the veterinary medicine curriculum, with emphasis on integrated learning and outcomes‑based education
• Collaborating with faculty to ensure curricular alignment, continuity, and quality
• Participating in research or scholarly activity appropriate to academic rank and professional interests
• Engaging in service activities that support the College, University, profession, and broader community

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree
• Eligibility for licensure in the state of Florida

• Advanced degree, residency training, or specialty board certification in a relevant discipline
• Previous teaching experience in an academic setting
• Veterinary clinical experience
• Experience with course design, curriculum integration, or course coordination in a veterinary medicine program
• Demonstrated record of research, scholarly activity, or professional contributions
