Responsibilities

We are seeking an exceptional Assembly Manager to spearhead our high‑tech equipment assembly and test processes. If you're a visionary leader passionate about transforming manufacturing excellence, this role offers an exciting opportunity to drive breakthrough improvements and set new industry standards. You'll be at the forefront of optimizing production, ensuring world‑class quality, and leading a dynamic team towards unprecedented efficiency.

Core Responsibilities
  • Operational Leadership:
    Manage, train, and mentor staff engaged in mechanical and electronic assembly and testing., including hiring and performance appraisals.
  • Production Management:
    Oversee daily assembly line operations, ensuring adherence to production schedules, quality standards, and budget requirements. Collaborate with planners to develop schedules, ensuring production targets are met while maintaining high-quality standards (ISO 9001, etc.).
  • Continuous Improvement:
    Drive lean manufacturing initiatives to reduce costs, improve quality, and enhance throughput.
  • Reporting:
    Track KPIs, analyze production records, and report to the Director Order Fulfillment.
  • Record Keeping:
    Maintain accurate records of production data, equipment maintenance, and KPIs.
  • Safety and Compliance:
    Enforce Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) protocols and ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
  • NPI Support:
    Supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) by collaborating with R&D and design teams.
Qualifications
  • Education:

    Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field (e.g., Engineering).
  • Experience:

    At least 5 years of manufacturing experience in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Technical

    Skills:

    Deep understanding of assembly processes, Lean manufacturing.
  • Soft Skills:

    Strong leadership, communication, and team‑building skills.
  • Software Proficiency:
    Familiarity with manufacturing execution systems and ERP tools.
  • Good communication skills in German and English
