The mission of the Acadiana Area Human Services District is to improve the quality of life for the citizens of Acadiana who have behavioral health and/or intellectual/developmental disabilities.
We’re seeking a friendly, detail-oriented individual to join our team. Two years of experience in administrative services.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as six months of experience.

Job DutiesAs an Administrative Coordinator
, you will function as a member of an administrative support staff team.
- Providing an array of administrative support functions to clients as well as to professional staff of the Clinic.
- Serves as Receptionist
- Switchboard Operator
- Scheduler
- Medical Records Administrator
- Admissions Interviewer
Location: Acadiana Area Human Services District –Opelousas Behavioral Health Clinic in Opelousas, LA
Appointment Type: Probational or Promotional
Work Schedule: Work hours are 8:00am to 4:30pm, Monday – Friday
