Retail Associate/ Customer Service, Customer Service Rep

Provide exceptional customer service to help people live healthier lives by treating our customers/employees in a fair and ethical manner, providing a safe, clean, inclusive environment, being a responsible member of the community, providing the right products, services, and care at the right time with fair and accurate pricing. Provide direct patient intervention by providing health and wellness services and experiences relevant to the patient as allowable by and consistent with state and federal laws.

- Comply with local, state and federal regulations; report all illegal activity, including robbery, theft or fraud
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and safety regulations and notify management of unsafe conditions
- Understand and perform ordering functions with primary and secondary wholesalers
- Manage inventory, medications, devices, supplements, and supplies according to company guidelines
- Maintain clean and organized work stations and customer areas
- Count, measure, and prepare specified products following best practices
- Complete billing procedures accurately to ensure value for customers and the company
- Answer phones, triage calls, and handle inquiries appropriately
- Follow guidelines on accepting vendor coupons, cash shortages, and shrink control
- Operate the cash register adhering to policies, including handling electronic transactions and cash
- Provide excellent customer service during reception, data entry, adjudication, and product dispensing
- Assist pharmacists in responsibilities that do not require professional judgment
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and company policies
- Support health and wellness initiatives
- Manage legend orders and deliveries
- Work effectively in high-paced, stressful environments
- Manage conflicts cooperatively and with integrity
- Follow directions and seek assistance when needed
- Support interactions with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults
- Perform all essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
Minimum
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be 18 years old
- Ability to handle confidential information
- Meet state requirements for the role
Desired
- Previous pharmacy or retail experience
- Familiarity with EPRN
