CRITICAL CARE RN FLOAT - EAMC FLOAT POOL EAMC MISSION

Provides safe therapeutic care in a holistic and systematic way. Incorporates differences into the provision of care. Utilizes standards, guidelines, protocols, or pathways for care delivery. Incorporates data and information to continuously improve care and practice to enhance outcomes.

Administers Medications according to standard nursing practice. Ensures improvements in practice settings by assuming responsibility for self-development.

Qualifications:

Graduate of a school of nursing. Registered Nursing License, BLS required within 90 days of hire/transfer, ACLS required within 12 months. PALS within 1 year of hire date. 2 years of recent Intensive Care Unit experience.

• Minimum Education
  • Associate degree in nursing or equivalent
• Minimum Experience
  • At least two years of recent RN acute care experience in ICU or CVICU required
• Required Registration/License/Certification
  • Alabama Board of Nursing License
  • ACLS must be obtained within 1 year of hire date
  • BLS must be obtained within 90 days of hire date
  • PALS within 1 year of hire date
• Preferred Education
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field
• Preferred Experience
  • Prefer 2-5 years of Critical Care experience.
• Preferred Registration/License/Certification
  • CCRN within 2 years of DOH or transfer
