Position Responsibilities
- Preparation of payrolls with related tax deposits and liability payments
- Preparation of quarterly payroll tax reports and W2s
- Remitting client retirement contributions such as 401(k) and IRA, including benefit and garnishment deductions
- Processing 401(k) census and some workers' comp/insurance audits
- Ability to budget time and prioritize tasks with minimum supervision
- Excellent understanding, comprehension, and ability to articulate payroll procedures
- Preferred 1 year of payroll processing or closely related experience
- Ability to multitask in an open office environment and communicate effectively
- Proficiency in the use of computers and the ability to learn various computer programs
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
