Unique opportunity to assist with the maintenance and daily care of Equestrian Center Horses with Auburn University Athletics!
Temporary Employment Services (TES), a unit of the Auburn University Department of Human Resources, is an in‑house support center established to meet the temporary employment needs of the university. TES provides qualified and dedicated temporary employees in a wide variety of occupations to meet the staffing needs throughout the campus. Temporary employees are hired for a variety of reasons with the most common being:
- Assistance in the place of a regular employee who is absent for a specified period of time
- Additional assistance during periods of abnormal or peak workloads
- Assistance with special projects
- Seasonal work

- Provide high quality daily care of the horses at the Equestrian Center
- Clean stalls, feed, water, turnouts and blanketing of horses
- Administer medications and perform medical treatments
- Assist with veterinary and farrier when needed

Minimum Qualifications- Ability to read and write
- Teamwork skills and able to work independently
- Initiative and self‑motivation, able to work autonomously while updating supervisor regularly
- Able to handle multiple tasks
- Flexibility
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to work 10–20 hours a week
- Experience with horses preferred
$8.00‑$12.00/hour
Work Hours7:45 a.m. – 4:45 p.m., Monday–Friday, nights and weekends as needed
