Position Title Graduate Biweekly - Educational Assistant Lowder Center
Job Summary
This is a Graduate student position to assist with administration, lecture preparation, communication, and grading for the Lowder Center and its initiatives. This role is not an assistantship (hence no tuition support); instead, it’s an hourly position that will be paid at a rate of $18 per hour with an expectation of 10-20 hours worked per week. Specific timing can be flexible to accommodate class schedules and other commitments.
Essential Functions
- Create slides and other educational content for Lowder Center programs.
- Assist with grading and evaluation of participant learning in various Lowder Center initiatives.
- Assist with participant communications via email, phone, or Canvas as needed.
- Add content to Canvas to improve student learning.
- Assist with research and data-tracking projects as needed.
- Collaborate with Lowder Center staff to raise awareness and impact of Lowder Center initiatives.
- Coordinate with external stakeholders regarding entrepreneurial workshops.
- Assist with event operations as needed.
- Potentially lead one or more workshops on an entrepreneurially related topic of personal interest.

Minimum QualificationsCurrently enrolled graduate student at Auburn University.
Preferred Qualifications- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- A strong eye for detail and/or some experience with grading.
- Some experience with Canvas or other LMS tools.
- Ability to work individually as well as cooperatively with others.
- Some experience with and/or training.
- Some knowledge of design principles.
- Commitment and motivation to learn.
- Dependability, multi-tasking, and the ability to switch priorities based on departmental needs.
Pay Rate $18.00 per hour
Work HoursWork Hours Up to 20 hours/week. May accommodate student scheduling.
