Registered Nurse

• Provide care in outpatient dialysis center; manage patients with end-stage renal disease or chronic kidney conditions.
• Deliver life-saving care and support to patients and families.
• Build long-term patient relationships in an intimate outpatient setting.
• Collaborate with a small interdisciplinary team (technicians, other nurses, dietitians, social workers, physicians, center manager).
• Deliver specialized, complex care for patients with multiple comorbidities.
• Oversee a patient census with support from Patient Care Technicians; perform observations and set up dialysis machines.
• Maintain schedule flexibility with shifts typically 3–4 days/week; 10–12 hour shifts; some holidays.
• Participate in clinical leadership and quality improvement initiatives to improve patient health outcomes.

• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum 9 months RN experience; dialysis experience not required.
• Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) required;
  Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or diploma may substitute per policy.
• Basic computer skills; ability to chart in electronic medical record systems; proficiency in MS Word and Outlook.

• ICU/CCU/ER/Med-Surg experience
• Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN)
• Chronic/acute dialysis or Home Dialysis experience
• Healthcare education or training experience

• Current RN license is required; some locations offer graduate nurse pre-licensure.
• Flexible schedule; must be able to work Monday–Saturday mornings/evenings; holidays may be required.
• Location may require float to multiple clinics during/after training.
