Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license (Oregon preferred)

• Certification in Labor and Delivery nursing required

• Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience

• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)

• Ability to complete all onboarding health and competency requirements (immunizations, drug screen, background check)

• Strong communication, clinical, and critical thinking skills
Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to laboring mothers and newborns in the Obstetrics/Labor & Delivery unit

• Monitor patient status, administer medications, and assist with labor and delivery procedures

• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes

• Educate and support patients and families throughout the childbirth process

• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold hospital policies, safety, and quality standards
