Position SummaryResponsible for managing the overall operations of a Jack in the Box unit. Uses discretion in daily management decisions with accountability for ensuring effective execution of the Service Profit Chain (SPC) and Brand Promise. Develops team to provide excellent internal and external service, build restaurant sales and profit while ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Key Duties / Responsibilities- Internal Service
:
Recruits, selects, trains, develops, and evaluates restaurant employees. Monitors staffing levels, implements training systems, identifies and develops internal candidates for management and Team Leader positions. Motivates and inspires employees to achieve high performance while treating all employees with respect and dignity. Complies with all state and federal labor laws and regulations. - External Service
:
Manages daily activities to achieve excellence in restaurant operational performance. Provides an exceptional experience for guests, holds team accountable for consistent delivery of excellent service and food quality, and maintains brand image. Responds to guest concerns in a timely and professional manner. - Sales & Profits
:
Utilizes management information tools to analyze operational and financial performance, identifies trends, and implements action plans. Focuses on increasing sales and profitability by executing SPC while protecting brand value. Monitors costs and adherence to budget and restaurant goals.

- Education
:
High School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent required. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred. - Experience
:- Internal Promote:
Minimum 1+ years as Associate Manager and/or 2 years as First Assistant Manager; must be 100% certified in all workstations. - External Recruit:
Minimum 3 years managing a service concept with full P&L responsibility.

:
Minimum 18 years old; must Restaurant Manager training and be Serv Safe certified. Valid driver’s license, ability to drive for bank deposits and travel to restaurant locations. Strong communication, math, and computer skills. - Physical Requirements
:
Ability to stand, walk, lift 10‑65 lbs, operate equipment, and use a computer keyboard.
