Essential duties/Responsibilities (this is not an exhaustive list; other duties may be assigned):

• Must be bilingual in English and Spanish and be able to provide behavioral health services profeiciently in communication and written skills
• Connect clients with community Resources including but not limited to housing, food stamps, insurance, social security.
• Advocate for benefits on behalf of client.
• Provide a variety of life skills training to clientele.
• Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written forms.
• Understand alcohol and drug assessment, treatment and service terminology and apply these concepts.
• Identify, implement, and coordinate the services/supports identified in an Individual Service Plan (ISP) for alcohol and/or drug clients.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Bachelor’s degree in social science, behavioral science, or closely related field
• Two-years’ job related experience
• OR a combination of education and experience
• Valid CPR certification or ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire
• Valid CADC-R certification or ability to obtain CADC-R Certification within 90 days of hire
• Valid driver’s license
• Successful completion of background check
