Essential duties/Responsibilities (this is not an exhaustive list; other duties may be assigned):
- Must be bilingual in English and Spanish and be able to provide behavioral health services profeiciently in communication and written skills
- Connect clients with community Resources including but not limited to housing, food stamps, insurance, social security.
- Advocate for benefits on behalf of client.
- Provide a variety of life skills training to clientele.
- Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written forms.
- Understand alcohol and drug assessment, treatment and service terminology and apply these concepts.
- Identify, implement, and coordinate the services/supports identified in an Individual Service Plan (ISP) for alcohol and/or drug clients.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Bachelor’s degree in social science, behavioral science, or closely related field
- Two-years’ job related experience
- OR a combination of education and experience
- Valid CPR certification or ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire
- Valid CADC-R certification or ability to obtain CADC-R Certification within 90 days of hire
- Valid driver’s license
- Successful completion of background check
