RN - Emergency Department at Avita Health System

Avita Health System serves the communities of Crawford and Richland counties through three hospitals and many clinic locations. We are growing and seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department in Ontario.

Provides professional nursing care within the Emergency Department, coordinating care with other disciplines, managing patient flow, and responding quickly to changes in patient status.

• Provide professional nursing care within the Emergency Department.
• Coordinate care planning with other disciplines.
• Determine priorities of care based on physical and psychosocial needs.
• Communicate with ED physicians regarding patient status and diagnostic results.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or treatment.

• Current State of Ohio Registered Nurse license.
• Current BLS Certification.
• ACLS certified within 3 months of hire.
• PALS within 6 months of hire.
• TNCC within one year of hire.

Preferred: 1–2 years Registered Nurse experience within the last 24 months.
