Ryder is immediately hiring a Permanent Full Time Forklift Operator in Ontario, California. Warehouse positions pay weekly.

• Hourly Pay: $21.00 per hour

  First Shift, Monday-Thursday 4:00 am – 2:30 pm

The hourly rate for this position is $21.00 per hour. Employees may also be eligible for shift premium.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred

• Valid forklift operator’s license

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Ability to work in a diverse environment

• Ability to perform with minimal supervision

• Initiative and accuracy under pressure

• Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs

• Ability to stand for long periods

• Ability to follow health and safety methods

• Flexibility to work various shifts

• Detail oriented with strong follow-up skills

• Perform warehouse functions, including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting

• Work within performance measurement guidelines of the contract

• Ensure accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products, and loading/unloading

• Handle day-to-day warehouse paperwork (e.g., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading)

• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during the core shift

• Performs other duties as assigned
