Position Description
Ryder is immediately hiring a Permanent Full Time Forklift Operator in Ontario, California. Warehouse positions pay weekly.
- Hourly Pay $21.00 per hour
- Schedule:
Second Shift Tuesday – Friday 3:00 pm – 1:30 am

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- One year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
- Valid Forklift Operator's License certified
- Strong verbal and written communication skills

- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships at all levels of the organization
- Highly thorough and dependable
- Punctual with a good attendance record
Performs work independently with minimal supervision - High level of initiative and accuracy even under pressure
- Can lift, push, or pull up to 35 lbs
- Can stand for long periods
- Works using health and safety methods
- Will be available for a flexible schedule on various shifts
- Detail oriented with excellent follow‑up practices
Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification, motor vehicle records check and a road test, and/or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.
Responsibilities- Perform warehouse functions, including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
- Maintain performance measurement guidelines of the contract
- Accurately pick, pack, audit, and stage products; load and unload trucks
- Handle day‑to‑day warehouse paperwork such as picking sheets, returns, and bills of lading
- Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hours of production
- Perform other duties as assigned
