LTAC / Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) - Per Diem
The LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse is accountable for providing high-quality patient care by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies and procedures. The RN demonstrates critical thinking, sound clinical judgment, and leadership to ensure the safe and effective delivery of care to patients in long-term acute care (LTAC) and telemetry settings.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive nursing care using the Nursing Process in compliance with state regulations and hospital policies
- Demonstrate critical thinking and scientific judgment in planning and delivering patient care
- Anticipate patient needs and proactively plan for safe care delivery
- Maintain clinical competency through continuing education and professional development
- Delegate patient care tasks appropriately based on staff education, experience, and scope of practice
- Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity and quality of care
- Monitor and assess patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes
- Minimum of 2 to 5 years of recent LTAC and/or Telemetry nursing experience required
- Per diem position
- Candidate must be able to start within 2 weeks of offer
- Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association
- Immunization Records
- Drug Screen and Background #T&T
