We are a recognized industry leader in high‑volume production of screw machine products with over 60 years of excellence. We are seeking a high‑level Maintenance Lead who is looking to take the next step in their career. This is a unique "player‑coach" role designed for a skilled technician who has the desire and aptitude to eventually grow into a Maintenance Manager position.
Salary: $72,800 - $87,400 per year
Shift: First
Work Hours: 5 AM - 3:30 PM
Education: High School
- Technical Leadership: Lead the maintenance team in rapidly responding to breakdown situations and providing hands‑on troubleshooting for complex mechanical issues.
- Workflow Coordination: Ensure work is allocated fairly and clearly assigned to crew members; assist in formulating and assigning daily tasks.
- Asset Management: Focus on improving asset utilization and production throughput by implementing proven maintenance and reliability processes.
- Preventive Maintenance: Execute and help develop preventive/predictive maintenance programs to ensure long‑term equipment viability.
- Safety Advocacy: Lead individual safety discussions and job‑specific safety reviews to maintain a 100% safe work environment.
- Mentorship: Provide coaching and mentoring to junior craftspeople, helping to develop a technically capable and high‑performing workforce.
- Lean Principles: Identify opportunities for waste elimination and apply lean manufacturing principles to enhance business results.
- Machine Expertise: strong experience with automatic screw machines in a high‑volume production environment is highly preferred.
- Leadership Potential: Demonstrated ability to influence others, resolve problems, and lead by example.
- Reliability Focus: A philosophy centered on cost‑effective asset management and long‑term equipment health.
- Effective Communication: Ability to develop relationships across departments to resolve production challenges.
