Sr. Maintenance Technician – Facilities

Niagara Bottling is looking for a skilled Technician to ensure equipment uptime through timely troubleshooting and repair of all production equipment.

• Adhere to and enforce highest safety and good manufacturing practice standards plant-wide.
• Train and lead Operators, Mechanics and Supervisors on technical procedures related to high‑speed bottle manufacturing and packaging.
• Partner with plant leadership to develop and execute continuous improvement projects and resolve reoccurring problems.
• Rapidly identify machine problems to minimize downtime and conduct root‑cause analysis to prevent reoccurrence.
• Use software systems to analyze and drive throughput performance.
• Lead overhaul efforts to rebuild equipment to like‑new status during planned downtime.
• Develop operating and troubleshooting procedures for bottling processes and injection technology, including blow molding, filling/capping, labeling, and case packaging.
• Transfer knowledge to maintain staff, ensuring reliable operations and maintaining plant uptime.
• Maintain regular attendance and on‑call availability as required.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Minimum 6 years of experience in a maintenance manufacturing environment.
• Experience with injection molding, blow molding, filling/capping, labeling, or packaging equipment.
• Strong ability to read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics.
• Proficiency with shop equipment (presses, grinders, lathes, drills) and precision measuring tools.
• Lead and train team members on troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Preferred: 10+ years in maintenance manufacturing, 6+ years in project management, 1+ year in leading maintenance teams.
• Preferred:
  Experience with Krones, Husky, Sidel, or similar bottling equipment.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s Degree in manufacturing technology, mechatronics, or related field preferred.

Hourly: $38.95 – $55.51
