OverviewWe are seeking a Family Law Paralegal to connect with our legal team! We are searching for a candidate who likes to be challenged and has a strong work ethic. The ideal candidate shall provide overall support to the attorneys' business needs and will do whatever is necessary to meet deadlines.
ResponsibilitiesConduct research to support legal proceedings
Assist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents such as motions, contracts, and agreements
Investigate facts to help in the negotiation of legal disputes
Monitor and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
Record and store client information
Provide administrative support for attorneys in court and at the offices
Be a team player
QualificationsMinimum of two years experience as a paralegal in a Family Law firm
Familiarity with legal research (Lexis Nexis)
Ability to prioritize and multitask
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Deadline and detail-oriented
Desired SkillsFamiliarity with the following programs:
Case management software (Practice Panther), CEB Essential Forms, Word Perfect, Microsoft Office, Dissomaster, Xspouse, Adobe Acrobat Pro
Bilingual is a plus
