“The Hunter & The Consultant”
We are looking for a high-energy, sophisticated professional to bridge the gap between a Business Development Representative (BDR) and a Solutions Consultant. This role is for someone who thrives on the “grind” of outbound sales but has the poise to present to high-end “Lux” market clientele. You will be responsible for the full sales cycle: from 50 cold calls a day to delivering expert platform demos that show how Xen Tag’s NFC ecosystem solves complex supply chain bottlenecks.
Key Responsibilities- High-Volume Lead Gen:
Drive the sales funnel with 40–50 outbound touches per day, creating a need for smart labels in North American Pharma, Spirits, Electronics, and Apparel sectors. - Solution Consulting:
Lead discovery calls to screen prospects and perform technical platform demos. You must be able to explain NFC/Blockchain value to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Trade Show Mastery:
Organize, attend, and lead Xen Tag’s presence at industry trade shows across Canada and the US. - Market Expansion:
Identify “pain points” in a client’s current packaging and position Xen Tag as the primary solution for authenticity and engagement. - Marketing Integration:
Act as the internal point of contact for digital marketing contractors (SEO/Lead Gen) to ensure sales and marketing efforts are perfectly aligned. - Digital Marketing & Social Media Strategy:
Collaborate with internal teams and contractors to enhance Xen Tag’s presence online through SEO, content marketing, and thought leadership. - Social Media:
Develop and execute social media strategies to amplify Xen Tag’s brand visibility, including leveraging platforms such as Linked In, Twitter, and industry-specific channels. - Thought Leadership:
Represent Xen Tag in industry forums, webinars, and panels. Contribute articles, blog posts, and insights that establish Xen Tag as an authoritative voice in smart labeling and blockchain technologies. - Travel & Client Meetings:
Be prepared for up to 50% travel to meet with clients and prospects in North America, including trade shows, customer visits, and strategic meetings.
- Outbound Activity:
Maintaining 40–50 qualified activities daily. - Demo Conversion:
Percentage of leads converted into successful platform demonstrations. - Revenue Growth:
Meeting quarterly sales and traction targets for the Xen Tag platform. - Stakeholder Management:
Success in managing internal/external stakeholders and marketing contractors. - Digital Marketing Effectiveness:
Success in executing digital marketing campaigns and increasing lead generation. - Brand Visibility:
Growth in Xen Tag’s presence and engagement across social media and industry platforms.
- Experience:
3–4 years of B2B sales experience OR a high-potential Fresh Graduate with a natural aptitude for technology. - Industry Knowledge:
Background in Packaging & Labeling is highly preferred. Alternatively, experience in tech-solutions for supply chain, pharma, or luxury electronics. - Technical Savvy:
Quick learner with an understanding of NFC, IoT, or SaaS platforms. Must be comfortable using AI tools to optimize daily workflows. - Marketing Literacy:
Strong understanding of digital marketing (SEO/Content) and social media strategies to effectively collaborate with external contractors. - Sophisticated Presence:
Exceptional verbal communication and style; you must feel “at home” when dealing with sophisticated luxury brands. - Mobility:
Based in the GTA with a valid passport for up to 50% travel to meet clients and attend trade shows in the US and Canada.
