Job SummaryWe are looking for a Senior IT Technician who is responsible for providing advanced technical support for both on‑site and remote internal corporate customers. The role involves troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving complex computer hardware, software, and peripheral issues. The Technician will communicate effectively with non‑technical customers, ensuring timely incident resolution and contributing to continuous improvement of IT support processes and standards.
Location: Ontario, California. Onsite presence is required five (5) days per week at the office location.
Key Responsibilities- Configure and deploy computers and necessary peripheral devices to on‑prem and remote customers.
- Install and configure enterprise software platforms (Microsoft Office, Adobe, etc.) in accordance with company standards and specifications.
- Perform troubleshooting techniques to diagnose and resolve issues.
- Record issues and their resolutions in the help desk system.
- Perform root cause analysis to eliminate recurring issues.
- Identify opportunities for automation to replace manual tasks.
- Create and maintain standard work and knowledge base articles.
- Ensure compliance with data security and privacy policies.
- Provide training and guidance to customers on operating software and computer equipment.
- Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance to minimize disruption to customers.
- Perform other IT‑related functions as directed by management.
- 3–5 years of proven experience as IT Technician or a relevant position.
- Excellent diagnostic and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Outstanding organizational and time‑management skills.
- Technical knowledge of office automation products, data management, and remote control.
- Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other technology products.
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Certification as an IT Technician (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) is preferred.
