A dynamic opportunity has opened for an Assistant Corporate Controller to join a growing construction and real estate organization. This role is to replace a current employee and requires a highly skilled accounting professional with deep technical expertise and a proven track record managing multi-entity operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare closing statement and loan closing journal entries
  .
• Assist with audit preparation and liaise with external auditors.
• Manage job cost accounting for construction and real estate projects.
• Support corporate banking functions and financial reporting.
• Oversee cost segregation and property tax appeal processes
  .
• Collaborate across departments to ensure accurate financial management for multiple entities.

Requirements &

Skills:

• Strong experience in construction and real estate accounting
  , managing multiple entities.
• Expertise in JDE (mandatory), MS Office, and Excel (
  VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables
  ).
• Solid understanding of cost segregation and property tax appeals.
• Experience with loan and closing journal entries as well as audit preparation.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
