Position Summary:The Administrative Assistant answer inquiries and provide information to the public, customers, visitors, and other interested parties about activities conducted at establishment and location of departments, offices, and employees within the organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Answering high call volume.
- Operate telephone switchboard to answer, screen, or forward calls, providing information, taking messages, or scheduling appointments.
- Greet persons entering establishment, decide nature and purpose of visit, and direct or escort them to specific destinations.
- Signing up walk-ins for services.
- Transmit information or documents to customers, using computer, mail, or facsimile machine.
- Hear and resolve complaints from customers or the public.
- Perform administrative support tasks, such as proofreading, transcribing handwritten information, or using calculators or computers.
- File and keep records.
- Provide information about establishment, such as location of departments or offices, employees within the organization, or services provided.
- Collect, sort, distribute, or prepare mail, messages, or courier deliveries.
- Process and prepare memos, correspondence, travel vouchers, or other documents.
- Receive payment and record receipts for services.

Required:
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- High School diploma or general Education
- 2+ years receptionist experience in progressively challenging positions.
- 2+ years office administration experience in receptionist or assistant position.
