Accounting Clerk

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Ontario, California. This role requires someone with strong organizational abilities to handle a variety of accounting tasks in a small office environment. You will play a vital role in ensuring accurate financial record-keeping and smooth communication with field crews and external customers.

Responsibilities:

- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

- Perform detailed data entry tasks to maintain and update financial records.

- Process invoices and ensure proper documentation for payment purposes.

- Handle lien releases and associated documentation in compliance with industry standards.

- Communicate with customers to gather required documents for payment processing.

- Assist the Area Manager with contract reviews and related administrative tasks.

- Open and process mail, ensuring proper distribution and follow-up.

- Support the office's day-to-day operations with flexibility and adaptability.

- Utilize advanced Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting.

- Collaborate with field crews and other team members to maintain a cohesive workflow. Requirements - Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in accounting or a related field.

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Pro Contractor and Nice Touch is highly desirable.

- Familiarity with iEWB software is preferred.

- Strong knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a small office environment with occasional interaction with field crews.

- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
