Buyer​/Planner , Purchasing – Hybrid

Buyer / Planner 3, Purchasing – Hybrid / Travel (Portland, OR / Vancouver, WA) Pay Rate: $29.00 per hour

Schedule:

Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (Day Shift) Work Arrangement:
Hybrid – Work from home with required travel to sites in Portland, OR and Vancouver, WA (98682). Locations are approximately 15 minutes apart. Mileage is not reimbursed.

The Buyer / Planner 3 is responsible for accurately receiving, processing, and shipping warehouse items while supporting purchasing and supply chain operations. This role includes inventory control, shipment tracking, documentation, and order fulfillment. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, adaptability, problem-solving ability, and effective communication within a team-oriented environment.

• Package parts, kits, and assemblies properly for shipment
• Receive incoming materials and stock items in correct warehouse locations
• Complete documentation for receiving and shipping activities
• Accurately read and interpret customer orders (part numbers, quantities, locations)
• Locate and pick inventory to fulfill orders
• Perform visual inspections to ensure order accuracy prior to shipment
• Conduct inventory control using scanners and computer systems
• Maintain organized warehouse space and accurate inventory records
• Perform additional duties as assigned, including repackaging, testing, and inspecting small parts

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

• 1–3 years of Supply Chain experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience using Fed Ex and UPS shipping software
• Strong communication skills
• Organized, motivated team player
• Strong problem-solving ability
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
• Safety-focused mindset
• Experience with ERP systems (Great Plains preferred)
