- Coordinate the administrative and operational activities related to international cement shipments transported by ocean vessels.
- Manage documentation required for maritime shipments, including Bill of Lading, Commercial Invoice, Certificate of Origin, and Arrival Notice, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Work closely with vessel operators, port agents, shipping brokers, and internal teams to track shipments, provide updates, and resolve issues affecting vessel schedules or cargo movement.
- Monitor vessel movements and support the coordination of ocean freight deliveries from international suppliers to U.S. ports.
- Collaborate with Ozinga’s shipping brokers and maritime partners to strengthen the efficiency of our international ocean supply chain.
- This is a remote role with a hybrid work preference for candidates located near an Ozinga office in Illinois, Indiana, or Florida.
- Individuals with experience in ocean freight, maritime logistics, international shipping, or supply chain operations.
- Candidates with a bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, logistics, maritime studies, or a related field are preferred.
- Professionals with strong organizational skills who can manage documentation and communication related to vessel shipments and international cargo movement.
- Effective communicators who are comfortable coordinating with shipping agents, brokers, and port stakeholders, and who are proficient in Microsoft Office.
