Career Hungry Import and Export Freight Forwarder

Are you working for a freight forwarder or shipping company, where every day is roughly the same with no real progression on the horizon?

However, if you are commercially minded, love the operational side of the business, keen to put your ideas forward and want to work closely with the management team, getting yourself noticed throughout the business, is certainly could be.

We’ll keep this bit short, but the successful candidate will join an established team of freight professionals moving cargo around the world by sea, air & road, both import & export.

With a commercial mindset, you will also quote clients. Build relationships & rapport and get stuck in with the running of this busy, growing branch.

Customs entry experience not necessary, as the company has their own dedicated Customs team.

• Some import / export or freight forwarding experience
• Commercially minded
• Driven with a can-so attitude
• Excellent communication

Our client is a well-established, innovative freight forwarder who has a good reputation within the industry and prides itself on looking after its employees and providing a good working environment.

For the right candidate our client is looking to pay between £30K-32K depending on experience, plus profit related bonus that could add £3-4K to this. 25 days holiday, 1 day a week working from home and loads of other great benefits.
