Our client, a leading organization in the logistics and supply chain industry, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Order Delivery Planner to join their team. As an Order Delivery Planner, you will be part of the Logistics Department supporting the Corporate Office South. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Order Delivery Planner
Location: AUSTIN, MN
Pay Range: $20.00
Shift: Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week (Standard work hours: 7:30 am - 4:30 pm with a 1-hour lunch break). May work from home on Fridays after full training and trust is established (approximately 6 weeks).
What's the Job?
- Create efficient truck delivery routes for customer and interplant orders to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Utilize JDA software to group sales and transfer orders from the mainframe-based Order Processing System into optimal delivery routes.
- Manage daily and weekly volume peaks, ensuring all routing is completed regardless of fluctuations in workload.
- Adjust work schedules, including lunch breaks, during peak activity periods to meet operational demands.
- Work beyond normal hours when necessary to accommodate unpredictable work volume and ensure operational continuity.

- Proficiency with personal computers and mainframe systems.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to address routing and logistical challenges.
