This is a full-time hybrid role for a Western OTR Driver based in Reno, NV, with some flexibility to work from home when not on the road. The role involves long‑haul driving across Western states, adhering to delivery schedules, conducting pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections, and ensuring on‑time delivery in a professional and safe manner. Drivers are responsible for maintaining accurate logs of operations, providing excellent customer service during delivery interactions, and following all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
Qualifications- Strong driving skills with a valid CDL (Class
A), a clean driving record, and experience in Over‑The‑Road (OTR) trucking - Ability to conduct thorough pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections and perform routine vehicle checks
- Strong organizational skills for route planning, scheduling, and logging transportation activities
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and commitment to company safety standards
- Effective time management and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
- Professional communication and customer service skills to interact positively with clients
- High school diploma or GED required; additional certifications or endorsements (e.g., HAZMAT) are advantageous
- Willingness to travel extensively with a physically fit condition to meet job demands
