Freight Broker

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Freight Broker based in Mississauga, ON, with some work-from-home flexibility. The Freight Broker will be responsible for bringing their own contacts and business , managing the full cycle of freight assignments, including identifying and securing transportation solutions, coordinating shipments, negotiating rates, and providing excellent communication with both clients and carriers. Additional responsibilities include ensuring timely deliveries, resolving shipment issues, and building strong business relationships with stakeholders to support long-term partnerships.

• Experience in Freight Brokerage and Brokerage processes
• Skills in Customer Service and Account Management to build and maintain strong client and carrier relationships
• Proficiency in Dispatching and coordinating shipments to ensure efficiency
• Strong organizational, negotiation, and time-management skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
• Familiarity with logistics software and tools is an asset
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in logistics or supply chain management are a plus
