ABOUT THE JOB

Our Truck Drivers are reliable and dependable and represent Helena in a courteous and professional manner while out on the road and at the home office. Our drivers use tact and diplomacy in every aspect of the job when working with customers, other Helena employees and leaders. Perks include being home daily and benefits starting on day one.

• Assists in loading trailer with materials.
• Unloads trailer using forklift or hand truck.
• Transports loads over required route to proper destinations.
• Obtains shipping bills and necessary signatures.
• Returns completed paperwork to the shipping office.
• Removes empty skids from trailer and carries them to designated area.
• Performs routine vehicle checks (oil, water, gasoline and air in tires).
• Provides excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
• Other work-related duties as assigned by leadership.
• Regular and reliable attendance is required.
• Follows all company policies and procedures.

• Class A or B CDL is required.
• Hazmat & Tanker endorsements are preferred.

• Ability to read, write and speak English is required.
• Spanish language ability is a valuable skill at Helena.
• Valid U.S. driver's license is required to drive a company vehicle. Must meet all company requirements to drive a Helena vehicle.

Successful completion of a drug test and background check is required for all positions at Helena.

Safety is Helena's highest priority. The work environment is a warehouse/outdoor setting with noise ranging from moderate to loud. You may work outdoors in all weather conditions and around moving equipment, fumes, airborne particles, chemicals, biological hazards, vibrations and potential electrical hazards. Tasks require use of hands for many activities and involve standing, walking, lifting (up to 50 lbs or more), reaching overhead (up to 25 lbs), bending, stooping, and frequent movement.
