Sleek Technologies is a remote‑first logistics company that disrupts traditional freight brokerage by empowering drivers and shippers with its web‑based platform.
We are growing and seeking a Driver Engagement Representative to build and nurture our network of owner‑operators and carriers.
About the RoleThe Driver Engagement Representative is responsible for engaging drivers, guiding them through the registration process, and ensuring that they become active members of the Sleek network. Your focus will be working with our sales and operations team to secure the right carrier and the right price to move our customer's products most efficiently. This role reports directly to the Driver Engagement Team Lead and may require working weekends and after hours if needed.
This is a fully remote, full‑time position based in the U.S.
- Conduct targeted driver reach‑out to build and grow the network of Owner Operators and carriers through lead generation, cold calling, emails, and referrals.
- Assist drivers from registration to “Active” status as well as bidding on loads.
- Provide day‑to‑day support for drivers (e.g., Q&A, troubleshooting).
- Maintain contact with drivers to secure additional capacity to cover current or future loads.
- Provide and negotiate rates to carriers in accordance with Sleek’s transparent pricing model.
- Build carrier relationships and leverage knowledge of the industry to influence the decision‑making process.
- Skillfully and persistently use phone and email – a prerequisite.
- Identify issues and work cross‑functionally to determine and implement the best solutions.
- College degree or equivalent logistics experience (e.g., Military Operations).
- 1+ years working in a logistics brokerage firm or for a carrier.
- Strong negotiation skills – ability to persuade, motivate, influence, and negotiate with others.
- Personable – ability to develop authentic, professional relationships with drivers.
- Proactive – follow through on commitments, overcome challenges, and solve problems.
- Computer literate – proficient with PC/Macbook/Chromebook, Gmail, Outlook, MS Office, and communication platforms.
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively across the company.
