As an Ocean Import Operations Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and timely import of shipments for our valued customers. This position offers a dynamic blend of operational responsibility, customer interaction, and compliance expertise in a fast-paced, international environment.

• Coordinate and ensure timely import shipment processing
• Optimize and document operational procedures and workflows
• Provide expert support and consultation to customers
• Manage customs clearance and related documentation
• Communicate with customers, agents, and service providers
• Prepare and follow up on quotations; conduct sales negotiations
• Process and secure customer invoices
• Monitor deadlines and ensure accurate invoicing
• Prepare Letters of Credit, Bills of Lading, delivery notes, customs documents, etc.
• Handle Dangerous Goods shipments in full compliance with applicable regulations

• Completed commercial apprenticeship in international forwarding
• 3-5 years of professional experience in ocean freight forwarding
• Fluent Germany and English (spoken and written); additional European languages are a plus
• Quick comprehension and a precise, reliable working style
• Independent, efficient, and accurate work ethic
• Enthusiastic team player with a proactive mindset
