Ahoy, Aquatics Enthusiasts! Are you ready to make a splash this summer? Do you have a passion for all things water-related and a heart as big as the Great Lakes? If so, we’ve got an opportunity that’ll take you on a grand adventure across Alberta, Manitoba and Ontario this summer as our Aquatics Specialist! Picture this: A summer filled with laughter, friendship, and making a difference.
As a key member of our summer travel team, you’ll be responsible for leading our waterfront training and activities for swimming, boating and fishing. Bring your lifeguard certification, enthusiasm, and creativity to create a splash-tastic experience.
Start Date: June 22, 2026
End Date: September 4, 2026
Rate: $ 20/hr/ 40 hours a week
Seasonal full-time position
Location: Hybrid Position with Remote Work and travel across Ontario, Manitoba and Alberta.
Work schedule may include weekdays and weekends/holidays as needed to support camp programs, events and other camp activities. Travel throughout the summer is a requirement. Room, board and travel expenses are covered during travel to camp.
Nature & Scope
Camp Quality Canada supports children and families affected by cancer through camp programs. The Aquatics Specialist supervises and supports the on-site lifeguards and oversees swimming pool/waterfronts, including boating and fishing; ensuring safety is the top priority. This role involves remote and in-person work. They will lead our in-service training for volunteers. The position directly reports to the Summer Program Coordinator, with mentorship and supervision by the Sr.
Coordinator of Programs and Sr. Director of Operations and Strategy Room, board and travel expenses are covered during travel to camp.

Scheduling rotation of lifeguards Ensure swim/buddy checks are completed on a regular basis Ensure all rescue, emergency and first aid equipment is in good working order. Provide recognition and feedback throughout the day to volunteers. Remain vigilant and respond quickly to rescues and emergency situations.
Qualifications
- Waterfront (asset).
National Lifeguard or Examiner (Red Cross, LSS) considered an asset.
