Overview

Experience a Summer Camp in Southeast Asia (Malaysia or Thailand). Ready for a summer of adventure, teamwork, and unforgettable moments? We’re looking for passionate, energetic individuals to deliver fun, high-quality activities and make every day at camp one to remember.

Salary: MYR 1,000 weekly / THB 7,500 weekly allowance

Hours: 8 hours

Volunteer Activity Leader

• Lead pre-designed games, challenges, and workshops
• Supervise and support campers during both on-site and off-site activities
• Create a safe, positive, and inclusive camp environment
• Work as part of a dynamic international team to make every day a success

To be considered for a volunteer placement with Camp Beaumont Asia, applicants should ideally:

• Be aged 18 or over.
• Be a resident of the UK and hold a valid UK passport with at least six months’ validity remaining from the intended travel date.
• Possess fluent English language skills (spoken and written).
• Be available to volunteer during the international summer holiday period. (entire camp is preferably)
• For safeguarding purposes, volunteers must provide a valid background check before Camp Beaumont Asia can confirm your placement.

All volunteer placements are offered, managed and delivered solely by Camp Beaumont Asia.

• A pre-departure briefing and welcome pack
• Guidance with flights, visas, and travel logistics
• In-country airport transfers
• Reimbursement of pre-travel expenses (including visa fees and background checks)
• Accommodation and meals provided throughout camp
• High-quality training to ensure you’re fully confident and ready before camp begins
• Regular in-country support and communication
• Travel insurance coverage for the duration of your volunteering placement (note: this does not cover any personal travel outside the contracted period).
• MYR1,000 (Malaysian Ringgit) or THB 7,500 (Thai Baht) weekly living expense allowance (paid upon completion of placement)
• Opportunities to explore SEA’s rich culture, beaches, and nature during your free time

• Flights
• Personal travel insurance outside the contracted volunteering period
• Vaccinations, medical checks, and other pre-travel health expenses
• Personal spending money for leisure, souvenirs, or independent travel
• Passport renewal fees or additional visa-related costs (if applicable)
• Accommodation or meals outside official camp dates (including personal travel before or after camp)
