With offices in Scotland and Newcastle (and just one or two in-office days per month), this is a fully remote opportunity offering the chance to lead, innovate, and grow in a supportive, forward-thinking environment.
💻 What you’ll do- Take on a 70/30 hands-on vs. leadership split
—coding, architecting, and mentoring. - Lead a small, talented team of developers in an agile, product-focused environment (scrum).
- Work across a modern full-stack environment

- 🌳 HANDS ON Software Engineering Manage of a team between 2–10 engineers, running 1:1s and supporting growth
- 🌳 Influence architecture, design patterns, and tech decisions across the platform
- 🌳 Partner with product managers to shape priorities and delivery outcomes
- 🌳 Guide teams in designing, building, testing, and shipping new features
- 🌳 Play a key role in hiring the next generation of engineering talent
- 🌳 Foster a culture of learning, collaboration, and engineering excellence
- 🌳 Remain technically hands-on, especially while teams scale
